Confused in the skin, Black or White?
Ghetto child, suburban life.
Forced to fight, denied a simple life.
Born a star, draped in shadows.
Mulatto existence. Persistently inconsistent.
Living stinking thinking. Pain-pleasure seeking.
Glass ceiling orbiting. Never evolving, yet changing.
Living repressive, impressive, until depressed.
Traumatized from the crib!
But, never quitting!
